Have you had trouble booking an appointment recently?
This could be because during JUNE 2010 there were 225 lost appointments because someone booked an appointment and then didn't turn up or bother to cancel their appointment.
This equates to 19 Doctors' surgeries
We now operate a text message reminder service - check with reception next time you are here to make sure we have your correct mobile phone number , you will receive a text message the day before your appointment reminding you. Please do not reply to these messages if you are trying to cancel an appointment as the service that sends them is not regularly checked - you should call your usual surgery to let them know if you cannot keep an appointment.
Please ALWAYS inform us if you cannot keep an appointment so that we can offer it to someone else that needs it.
