We are here to offer you medical advice and treatment during your stay in York and hope that you will find this website provides you with the answers to many of the questions you may have about the kinds of treatment and assistance you can expect to receive from us.
This section of our website gives you information on how to register with the practice, where our surgeries and local pharmacies can be found and how to request a repeat prescription or tell us you have moved house. Once you are a registered patient, you can also use our online services.
The website provides some good general health information which can be translated into many different languages by using the translate option at the top of each page making it more easily accessible to all of the overseas students who attend York University.
STUDENTS WHO CHOOSE NOT TO REGISTER WITH THE UNIVERSITY HEALTH CENTRE WILL NOT BE ABLE TO OBTAIN ROUTINE MEDICATIONS OR HEALTH ADVICE FROM THE HEALTH CENTRE. PLEASE CONTACT YOUR REGISTERED GP
THE HEALTH CENTRE CAN OFFER APPOINTMENTS TO ANY STUDENTS ON CAMPUS WITH A MEDICAL EMERGENCY.
