Contraception Clinics & Advice

The Health Centre offers dedicated contraception and sexual health clinics on the following days during term time:

Monday afternoon
Tuesday morning
Thursday afternoon
Friday afternoon

The service is nurse led and run by Christine Walters.  It is a comprehensive service that offers flexibility by providing appointments throughout the week.

Contraception Services Available at The Health Centre

Long acting reversible contraception methods (as recommended by NICE)

Depo Provera - contraceptive injection
Implanon - contraceptive implant
IUD - commonly known as the "coil"
IUS - coil with hormones added

Also:

Oral contraception
Condoms
Emergency contraception
